Your VW tail lights allow drivers behind you to see you at night or when weather conditions make it difficult to see. They also are incorporated with brake lights and turn signals to alert drivers behind you that you are slowing down, stopping, or about to make a turn or change lanes at all times. Some tail lights even have reverse lights incorporated in them to illuminate behind your VW when backing up and alert pedestrians and other vehicles that you are backing up. Tail lights can be located in the rear and rear corner body panels, trunk, rear hatch, rear doors, or tailgate.
